July 12, 2010 was a day that changed the lives of the Wilde Family.  After multiple tests and visits to the doctor, Brent was diagnosed with colon/rectal cancer.  The original diagnosis was stage 2 cancer, but with further testing, they had discovered that the cancer had spread to the liver and lungs.  Chemotherapy and radiation treatments continued through September 14, 2010.  Surgery was scheduled for November 11, 2010.  More tumors were found and chemotherapy was started again on January 7, 2011.  The doctors have given him 3-5 years, but we are hoping that he'll beat the odds.

Brent and Kendra have been married for 26 years.  They have four children: Ashlie (husband - Jake Njord), Tyson (on a mission in San Francisco), Paige (a sophomore at Copper Hills), and Devin (6th grader at Hawthorne Academy). As a family, they enjoy enjoy spending time together going to movies and watching home movies. Laughter is something you'll hear frequently in the Wilde home.   The most important thing to them right now is making memories with each other.
